Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czechia, Sweden, and Türkı̇ye have qualified for the 2026 Men’s World Cup after winning their respective paths in the UEFA playoffs on TUE 31 MAR 2026. They are the last of UEFA’s 16 World Cup places to be decided.

After defeating Ukraine 3-1, Sweden earned qualification against Poland thanks to a dramatic strike by Viktor GYÖKERES in the 88th minute following a goalmouth scramble. They join Group F alongside Tunisia, the Netherlands, and Japan.

Türkı̇ye edged Romania and Kosovo, both by 1-0 scorelines, to reach their first Men’s World Cup in 24 years. They will face Australia, Paraguay, and the United States in Group D.

Czechia ended their own 20 year drought after surviving penalty shootouts against both Ireland Rep and Denmark, earning qualification to Group A. There they will play Korea Rep, South Africa, and Mexico.

Bosnia-Herz also went to penalties twice as they secured a trip to their second ever Men’s World Cup, defeating Wales and Italy. Canada, Switzerland, and Qatar await them in Group B.
