CAF group phase draw complete

The draw for the CAF group phase of qualifiers for the 2026 Men’s World Cup was held on THU 13 JUL 2023 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The teams were allocated into nine groups, each containing six teams.
The group phase begins in NOV 2023, with each team playing each opponent in their group twice. The first placed teams in each group qualify, and the top four second placed teams advance to the CAF playoffs. One of those four teams will then move on to the intercontinental playoff tournament.
