2015 Women’s World Cup.
Canada, the host nation, are seeded along with five of the world’s six highest ranked women’s national sides:
Brazil,
France,
Germany,
Japan, and the
United States. The remainder of the field of 24, largest in tournament history, have been placed in three pots of six teams each.
