England, Croatia, and Ghana have advanced from Group L at the 2026 Men’s World Cup, as Panama were eliminated.

The Three Lions climbed to the top of the group table with a 4-2 win over Croatia, followed by a goalless draw with Ghana and a 2-0 win over Panama. Harry KANE scored three goals to take his career total at Men’s World Cups to eleven, surpassing Gary LINEKER as England’s all time leader.

Despite the loss to England, Croatia still secured their place in the next round with wins over Ghana and Panama. The Black Stars, meanwhile, advanced as one of the top third placed teams thanks to their draw with England, plus a 1-0 win over the Cañaleros.

In the round of 32, England will meet Congo DR in Atlanta, GA, United States on WED 01 JUL 2026. Croatia travel to Toronto, ON, Canada to face Portugal on THU 02 JUL 2026, with Ghana headed to Kansas City, MO, United States for a matchup with Colombia the following day.
