Spain and Cabo Verde have advanced from Group H at the 2026 Men’s World Cup, whilst Uruguay and Saudi Arabia were eliminated.

The group opened with a dramatic result, as the Blue Sharks held Spain to a goalless draw, led by seven saves from VOZINHA. La Furia Roja, however, responded with wins over Saudi Arabia and Uruguay to claim first place.

Cabo Verde followed up their performance against Spain with two additional draws. With Uruguay and Saudi Arabia both losing to Spain, however, that left the Blue Sharks in second place. Uruguay, on two points, were unable to advance as one of the top third placed teams.

In the round of 32, Spain will meet the second placed team from Group J in Inglewood, CA, United States on THU 02 JUL 2026. The following day, Cabo Verde will meet title holders Argentina in Miami Gardens, FL, United States.
