Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and the United States have qualified for the 2023 Women’s World Cup after the group phase of the CONCACAF W Championship concluded on MON 11 JUL 2022. Haiti and Panama have advanced to the playoffs.

Canada and Costa Rica were the class of Group B, each winning their first two matches against Panama and Trinidad-Tobago handily. Canada claimed top spot in the group with a 2-0 win over the Ticas.

In Group A, the US withstood a stern test from host nation Mexico to secure first place. Jamaica qualified for their second consecutive Women’s World Cup with a 4-0 win over Haiti.

The semifinal matches feature Canada-Jamaica and United States-Costa Rica, with the tournament winner qualifying for the 2024 Olympic women’s football tournament. The second and third placed teams will play off for another Olympic place. In addition, Haiti and Panama, as the third placed teams in the two groups, advance to the playoffs, each hoping to qualify for the Women’s World Cup for the first time.
