FIFA have confirmed that the draw for the 2023 Women’s World Cup will be held in Auckland/​Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand, on SAT 22 OCT 2022. The 32 teams will be allocated into eight groups of four.

The draw will be held at the Aotea Centre, a convention and events hall in Auckland/​Tāmaki Makaurau.

At the time of the draw, 29 of the 32 participating teams will be known. Australia and New Zealand have qualified automatically as cohosts. China PR, Denmark, France, Japan, Korea Rep, the Philippines, Spain, Sweden, and Vietnam have qualified so far, with 18 additional places to be decided between now and OCT 2022. The final three places will be decided at the playoffs in FEB 2023.
