CONMEBOL have held the draw for the Women’s Copa América, the tournament that determines CONMEBOL’s three automatic places at the 2023 Women’s World Cup. The draw was held in Asunción, Paraguay, on THU 07 APR 2022.

As tournament hosts, Colombia were placed in Group A, where they will face Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Bolivia. Group B features defending Women’s Copa América champions Brazil along with Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, and Uruguay.

The tournament will be played FRI 08-SAT 30 JUL 2022 in Colombia. Teams will play each group opponent once. The top two teams in each group advance to the semifinals, and the third placed teams square off in the fifth place match. The semifinal winners, along with the winner of the third place match, qualify for Australia/​New Zealand 2023. The third place loser and fifth place winner advance to the playoffs.
