UEFA have confirmed the pots for the draw for the UEFA playoffs, to be held on THU 18 JUN 2026 in Nyon, Switzerland. The 32 participating teams will play two rounds of playoffs to decide seven more places at the 2027 Women’s World Cup and one at the elimination phase of the interconfederation playoffs.

The first placed teams in each group in League A – Denmark, France, Germany, and Spain – have already qualified for Brazil 2027. The remaining teams in League A advance to the playoffs, along with the top three teams in each group in League B, the first placed teams in each group in League C, and the two best second placed teams in League C.

The first pot contains the second and third placed teams in League A. In the first round, these teams will each face one of the League C teams, who make up the second pot. Meanwhile, the fourth placed teams in League A and the first placed teams in League B will each be drawn against a second or third placed team in League B.

In the second round, each winner of a matchup between pots 1 and 2 will play a winner of a matchup between pots 3 and 4. Each pairing in both rounds will be played over two legs.

The first round will be played in OCT 2026, and the second round in NOV-DEC 2026. Of the eight winning teams in the second round, the top seven, based upon their league phase finish, will qualify for Brazil 2027. The remaining team will advance to the interconfederation playoffs.
