Colombia and Argentina each qualified with a match to spare after both going unbeaten in the eight matches. Venezuela, meanwhile, earned their first trip to the playoffs after a strong campaign that saw them finish with a +13 goal difference, tied with Argentina for best in the group. Despite conceding a late goal to Argentina for a 1-0 loss in their last match, Ecuador reached the playoffs in fourth place, ahead of Peru on goal difference.

Of the two playoff participants, the one higher in the FIFA rankings [currently Venezuela] will receive a bye directly to the elimination phase of the playoffs. The other team will enter in the league phase, to be played in NOV-DEC 2026.
