New Zealand, American Samoa, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji have advanced to the OFC elimination phase of qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup after finishing in the top two in their respective groups in the group phase.

New Zealand finished atop Group A with three wins from three matches, led by four goals from Kelli BROWN. Amer Samoa join them in the semifinals after defeating the Solomon Is and Samoa, their first time reaching this stage of the qualifiers.

Heavy rains and flooding in Ba affected Group B, forcing the postponement of the match between Papua New Guinea and Fiji. Both had already defeated New Caledonia and Vanuatu before their head to head encounter, won by PNG on a lone, late goal by Meagen GUNEMBA.

The elimination phase will be played in New Zealand in APR 2026. The winner of the final match will qualify for Brazil 2027; the losing team will have another chance in the playoffs.
