The draw for the CAF Women’s African Nations Cup was held on THU 15 JAN 2026 in Rabat, Morocco. The 16 participating teams were placed into four groups.

Host nation Morocco were placed in Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya. Nigeria, the reigning African champions, are in Group C and will face Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the elimination phase, where four places at the 2027 Women’s World Cup and two in the playoffs will be up for grabs. The tournament will be held in MAR-APR 2026 in Morocco.

• Group B: Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, Tanzania
• Group C: Egypt, Malawi, Nigeria, Zambia
