The draw for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup will be held on TUE 29 JUL 2025 in Sydney/​Gadigal, NSW, Australia. The twelve teams will be placed into three groups of four teams each.

Australia, the tournament host nation, have been placed into Group A automatically. The other top seeds, Japan and Korea Rep, will each be drawn into one of the other two groups. The pots were determined based on the latest FIFA rankings. Each group will contain one team from each pot.

The Asian Cup will begin on SUN 01 MAR 2026. Six teams will qualify for the 2027 Women’s World Cup, and two will advance to the playoffs.
