CAF have confirmed that host nation Morocco, Cameroon, and Nigeria will be the seeded teams at the Women’s African Nations Cup. The draw for the tournament will be held on FRI 29 APR 2022 in Rabat, Morocco.

The three seeded teams have each been placed into one of the three groups. Morocco were placed into Group A, Cameroon into Group B, and Nigeria into Group C. The remaining nine teams will all be drawn from a single pot.

The tournament will be played SAT 02-SAT 23 JUL 2022 in Morocco. Four teams qualify for the Women’s World Cup, and two other teams advance to the playoffs. Details about any elimination matches to decide the playoff places are yet to be confirmed.
