Pots set for UEFA preliminary round draw

The draw for the UEFA preliminary round of qualifiers for the 2019 Women’s World Cup will be held at 12:30 UTC on THU 19 JAN 2017 in Nyon, Switzerland. The sixteen teams taking part will be allocated into four groups of four.
Albania, the Faroe Is, Georgia, and Lithuania have been selected as hosts of the groups. These teams will be placed in one pot, and the other pots are allocated based upon the UEFA women’s coefficients.
The groups will play in a single round robin format in APR 2017. The winners and the highest ranked second placed team, discounting results against fourth placed teams, advance to the group phase.
