[SAT 16 AUG 2025 – 01:48:08 UTC]
The OFC held the draw for its group phase of qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup on FRI 15 AUG 2025 in Auckland, New Zealand. The eight teams were drawn into two groups of four.
The OFC qualifiers begin with the preliminary round in the Cook Is in NOV-DEC 2025. The four lowest teams in the FIFA rankings begin by playing semifinal matches based on their rankings: Tonga v American Samoa, and Tahiti v Cook Is. The winners meet in the final match.
The team that wins the preliminary round will be placed in Group A alongside New Zealand, Samoa, and the Solomon Is. OFC group B will feature Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, and New Caledonia. Both groups will be played in FEB-MAR 2026, with matches hosted by one of the teams in each group.
The top two teams in each group advance to the elimination phase, where the winner of the final match will earn a ticket to Brazil 2027. The losing finalist will advance to the playoffs for another chance to qualify. The elimination phase is scheduled for Auckland, New Zealand, in APR 2026.
