FIFA have confirmed that each confederation will have the same number of places at the 2027 Women’s World Cup as at the 2023 tournament.

UEFA will still have the most places with eleven, followed by the AFC with six, CAF and CONCACAF with four each, CONMEBOL with three [including host Brazil], and the OFC with one.

In addition, ten teams will take part in the playoffs to decide the last three places at Brazil 2027. UEFA and the OFC will have one team each. All other confederations will send two teams each to the playoffs.

• UEFA: 11 qualify, 1 to playoffs
• AFC: 6 qualify, 2 to playoffs
• CAF: 4 qualify, 2 to playoffs
• CONCACAF: 4 qualify, 2 to playoffs
• CONMEBOL: 3 qualify [including Brazil], 2 to playoffs
• OFC: 1 qualify, 1 to playoffs
• Playoffs: 3 qualify
