Venues selected for 2023 Women’s World Cup

The ten venues for the 2023 Women’s World Cup have been announced. Six stadiums in five cities in Australia made the list, along with four stadiums in four cities in New Zealand. Stadium Australia in Sydney is to host the final match.

The opening match will be played at Eden Park in Auckland/​Tāmaki Makaurau, and New Zealand’s other three host cities are Dunedin/​Ōtepoti, Hamilton/​Kirikiriroa, and Wellington/​Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

In addition to Stadium Australia, the new Sydney Football Stadium, due to be completed next year, will also host matches. Australia’s other host cities are Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.

The full match schedule is to be announced later in the year.
