The draw for the playoffs was held on FRI 14 OCT 2022 in Zürich, Switzerland. The ten participating teams, representing all six confederations, were drawn into three groups.

In Group A, Cameroon will meet Thailand, with the winner advancing to face Portugal. Group B sees Senegal against Haiti, with the winner moving on to a match against Chile. Finally, Group C opens with Chinese Taipei-Paraguay and Papua New Guinea-Panama, and the winners will square off in the group’s final match.

The playoffs will be held in New Zealand SAT 18-THU 23 FEB 2023. The winners of the three final matches qualify for the 2023 Women’s World Cup. In addition, New Zealand and another guest team, still to be confirmed, will play friendlies against one another and some of the participating teams.
