The final round of the CONMEBOL Women’s Copa América opened on MON 16 APR 2018 with two matches, both of which witnessed sharp reversals at halftime.

• Colombia 01-03 Argentina: Liana SALAZAR put the Cafeteras in front just after the half hour mark. However, the second half belonged to Argentina, as María BONSEGUNDO equalised just after the break, followed by goals from Soledad JAIMES and Mariela CORONEL.
• Brazil 03-01 Chile: Brazil dominated proceedings in the first half, particularly in a fourteen minute stretch that saw MÓNICA, Beatriz ZANERATTO, and MARTA find net. Yesenia LÓPEZ drew one back for Chile in the second half, but the hosts were still handed their first loss of the tournament. They look to recover on Thursday when they face Colombia, immediately after Brazil take on Argentina.
