The Confederation of North/​Central American and Caribbean Association Football [CONCACAF] has 35 FIFA members. 31 have entered the qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup. The Bahamas, the British Virgin Is, and Montserrat did not enter. The Turks-Caicos Is withdrew.

Four CONCACAF teams qualify for the 2027 Women’s World Cup, and two advance to the interconfederation playoffs. There are two phases of play prior to the playoffs.

  • Byes: Two highest teams in FIFA rankings
• Six groups: five with 5 teams each, one with 4 teams
• Single round robin
• 6 teams advance to CONCACAF W Championship:
  • First placed team in each group
• Remaining 23 teams eliminated

CONCACAF W CHAMPIONSHIP

• 8 teams
• Three rounds:
  • Quarterfinals: Four matches
  • Semifinals: Two matches
  • Third place and final: Two matches
• Single matches [extra time and penalties if needed]
• 4 teams qualify for final tournament:
  • Winners of quarterfinal matches
• Repechage playoffs to be confirmed
