UEFA have held the draw for the league phase of qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup. The 53 participating teams have been placed into 14 groups in three leagues.

Based on the results of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Nations League, the teams were placed into three leagues. Leagues A and B each have sixteen teams in four groups of four, whilst League C has 21 teams in six groups. Three of the groups have three teams each, and the other three have four each.

The league phase will be played in FEB-JUN 2026. At the end, the first placed team in each group in League A will qualify directly for the 2027 Women’s World Cup.

The remaining teams in League A will all have another chance in the UEFA playoffs. The top three teams in each League B group, plus the first placed teams in each League C group and the top two second placed teams in League C, will also take part in the playoffs. Of the eight teams that survive the playoffs, the top seven, based on their league phase performances, will qualify for Brazil 2027. The other winning playoff team will have one last chance to qualify in the interconfederation playoffs.

• League C:

  • Group C2: Bulgaria, Croatia, Gibraltar, Kosovo
  • Group C3: Andorra, Azerbaijan, Hungary, North Macedonia
  • Group C4: Faroe Is, Georgia, Greece
  • Group C5: Cyprus, Moldova, Romania
