CONCACAF have confirmed that the draw for the preliminary round of qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup will be held on WED 20 AUG 2025. The 30 participating teams will be placed into six groups of five teams each.

Of CONCACAF’s 35 FIFA member nations, all but three [Bahamas, British Virgin Is, Montserrat] have entered the qualifiers. As the two highest in the FIFA rankings, Canada and the United States receive a bye to the CONCACAF W Championship.

The remaining 30 teams will play in the preliminary round. At the draw, one team from each pot will be placed into each group. In NOV 2025-APR 2026, each team will play each opponent in their group once. The first placed team in each group will advance to the W Championship, where CONCACAF’s four places at Brazil 2027 will be decided.

• Pot 4: Anguilla, Antigua-Barbuda, Aruba, Cayman Is, Turks-Caicos Is, US Virgin Is
• Bye to CONCACAF W Championship: Canada, United States
