The second legs of the UEFA playoff semifinals were played on TUE 09 OCT 2018, as the Netherlands and Switzerland advanced. Series aggregate results are shown below.

• Denmark 01-04 Netherlands: Denmark started strongly in an effort to erase their 2-0 first leg deficit, and it paid off when the Netherlands’ Dominique JANSSEN was whistled for a foul in the area early on. Nadia NADIM converted the penalty, but the Dutch responded moments later through Lineth BEERENSTEYN. She would add another in second half stoppage time to send the European champions into the final.
• Switzerland 03-03 Belgium [away goals 02-01]: After the first leg finished 2-2, Géraldine REUTELER put Switzerland in front midway through the first half. Thirteen minutes from time, Tine DE CAIGNY’s aggregate equaliser sparked a frantic finish, but no Belgian winner was forthcoming. Switzerland advance on away goals and will meet the Netherlands next month to decide UEFA’s last place at the Women’s World Cup.
