• Panama 04-00 Nicaragua: Karla Paola RILEY scored twice as the Cañaleras’ qualifying campaign opened brightly.
• El Salvador 00-11 Costa Rica: Three goals from Daphne HERRERA and two from Shirly CRUZ paced the Ticas to a convincing victory over El Salvador. Should Costa Rica and Panama both be victorious on Wednesday, against Nicaragua and El Salvador respectively, they will each advance to the CONCACAF Women’s Championship with a match to spare.
