As the CONCACAF Caribbean second preliminary round began on SAT 25 AUG 2018 in Kingston, Jamaica, the Reggae Girlz danced their way to victory.

• Cuba 02-03 Trinidad-Tobago: Both teams had eyes on their first Women’s World Cup appearance, and they entered the interval level at 1-1. Kayla TAYLOR opened the scoring for Trinidad-Tobago in the 20th minute, but Jennifer RAMOS LÓPEZ responded for Cuba just three minutes later. T-T emerged brightly at the start of the second half, and two goals in the first ten minutes of the period completed Taylor’s hat trick. Mengana PÉREZ pulled one back for Cuba late on.
• Jamaica 09-00 Antigua-Barbuda: The Reggae Girlz made short work of Antigua-Barbuda, delighting their supporters from the start as Christina CHANG opened the scoring in the second minute. Khadija SHAW’s hat trick took her tally in the qualifiers to eleven goals. The round continues on Monday with A-B facing Cuba, Bermuda opening against Jamaica, and T-T enjoying a respite.
