With their victory at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup on THU 12 APR 2018, Thailand earned qualification for their second Women’s World Cup.

• Jordan 01-08 China PR: Having already been eliminated, the hosts had only pride to play for. Sarah ABU SABBAH drew them level in the 17th minute, negating WANG Shuang’s opener. The rest of the match would belong to China PR, though, as they rolled past a Jordanian side reduced to ten players by a 72nd minute red card to Yasmeen KHAIR.
• Thailand 03-01 Philippines: Kanjana SUNG-NGOEN’s first half penalty gave Thailand the lead, and they never looked back. Sung-Ngoen added a second shortly after the interval, and Silawan INTAMEE added a third. The result secures second place in Group A and a ticket to France for the Thai squad, whilst the Philippines must go through the fifth place match to qualify.
