• Korea Rep 01-01 Korea DPR: KIM Yun Mi put Korea DPR in front in first half stoppage time, after teammate WI Jong Sim missed a penalty early on. JANG Sel Gi, though, equalised for the Korea Rep in the 76th minute. The draw leaves Korea DPR atop Group B, but Uzbekistan and Korea Rep each have a match in hand.
• Myanmar 14-00 Syria: Win Thiengi TUN’s five goals set the pace in a comprehensive victory. Even with this result, Vietnam have the edge in Group D on goal difference.
• Tajikistan 00-08 Philippines: Three goals from Hali LONG continued the Philippines’ perfect run in Group A. A draw against Bahrain on Monday would secure their place at the Women’s Asian Cup.
• Thailand 01-00 Chinese Taipei: Thailand stamped their own ticket to Jordan with a victory over Chinese Taipei. A fourth minute free kick by Suchawadee NIDHAMRONG was the difference as the Thais finished Group C with two wins.
