The remaining matches in the UEFA playoffs have been scheduled, FIFA and UEFA confirmed. Scotland will now face Ukraine on WED 01 JUN 2022, with the winner visiting Wales on SUN 05 JUN 2022.

With all three teams scheduled to play in the UEFA Men’s Nations League during the same international match period, FIFA and UEFA held discussions involving the three teams, plus their opponents in the Men’s Nations League.

As a result of those discussions, some match dates in the Men’s Nations League have also been changed, meaning that Wales and the winner of the Scotland-Ukraine match will now play five matches, rather than four, during the international period of MON 30 MAY-TUE 14 JUN 2022. In addition, Scotland and Ukraine will now play three Men’s Nations League matches, rather than two, during the international period of MON 19-TUE 27 SEP 2022, including two against each other.
