FIFA have confirmed that Russia have been disqualified from their UEFA playoff match against Poland as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and its subsequent suspension from all international competitions. In addition, Ukraine’s match against Scotland has been postponed.

Russia were to play Poland in Moscow on THU 24 MAR 2022, but that match has now been cancelled. Poland advance automatically to final B against the winner of the Sweden-Czech Rep match.

The Scotland-Ukraine match, also to be played on THU 24 MAR 2022, has been postponed at Ukraine’s request. That match, as well as final A between the winner of that match and the winner of the Wales-Austria match, has been postponed to JUN 2022. The Wales-Austria match itself will be played as scheduled on THU 24 MAR 2022.

Scotland, Ukraine, Wales, and Austria are each scheduled to play four matches in the UEFA Men’s Nations League in JUN 2022. Plans for rescheduling these matches will be announced at a later date.
