CONMEBOL have confirmed that the 2014 Women’s Copa América will be held in Ecuador in SEP 2014. All ten CONMEBOL member nations will participate.

CONMEBOL’s seventh women’s tournament will qualify two teams automatically to the 2015 Women’s World Cup and send a third to the CONCACAF/​CONMEBOL playoff. As with the previous three editions, the tournament will be played in two group phases. The teams will be drawn into two groups of five, with the top two in each group advancing to the final group of four.
