The UEFA preliminary round will be held THU 04-TUE 09 APR 2013, with four places in the group phase on offer.

Malta will host Group A, which also includes Albania, Latvia, and Luxembourg. Group B features host Lithuania along with the Faroe Is, Georgia, and Montenegro. Teams play their group rivals once during the week. The top two teams in each group advance to the group phase in hopes of being one of UEFA’s eight representatives at Canada 2015.
