The teams went to the spot for the second consecutive match, where Croatia keeper Danijel SUBAŠIĆ opened by saving Fedor SMOLOV’s attempt, to be followed later by a Fernandes miss. Ivan RAKITIĆ converted Croatia’s last attempt to secure his side’s place in the last four, where they will meet England.
