• Papua New Guinea 01-03 Tahiti: The home side were shorthanded midway through the first half when David BROWNE was sent off, but Nigel DABINYABA found net to put PNG ahead just before the halftime interval. Two goals from Sylvain GRAGLIA, though, reversed the script and moved Tahiti to the top of Group B. PNG will need at least a point in the return encounter to remain alive.
