Indonesia have been disqualified from the AFC qualifiers. The Football Association of Indonesia had previously been suspended from FIFA due to government interference.

Indonesia were to have played in Group F of the AFC first group phase. Their matches have now been cancelled. In addition, the AFC confirmed that the four best second placed teams in the first group phase will be determined based only on results against the first, third, and fourth placed teams in each group; for all other groups, the results against the fifth placed team will not count toward the ranking of second placed teams.
