Germany are champions of the 2014 Men’s World Cup on a 1-0 win over Argentina in extra time. Mario GÖTZE’s volley in the 113th minute was the difference between the two sides.

The night ended with Germany captain Philipp LAHM hoisting the trophy, his nation’s fourth all time and first since reunification.
