
Thailand edge Myanmar, to face Vietnam for qualification

Southeast Asia will be represented at the Women’s World Cup for the first time, as Thailand have advanced to the fifth place match of the Women’s Asian Cup against Vietnam.
Goals from Kanjana SUNG-NGOEN and Sritala DUANGNAPA led the Thai squad past Myanmar for third place in Group B. They will face host Vietnam for the final Asian slot at Canada 2015. Both teams are aiming for a first appearance at a Women’s World Cup.
