FORMAT

• 16 teams
  • Up to 20 players per team roster, including up to three goalkeepers
    • Players may be replaced up to 24 hours before team’s first match in case of injury or illness
  • Up to three substitutions per team per match
• Group phase:
  • Four groups; four teams per group
  • Pts = 3W + D
  • Top two teams in each group advance
• Elimination phase:
  • If tied after 90 minutes, extra time played [two 15 min periods]
    • Golden goal rule applies: goal scored in extra time wins match
  • If still tied, match decided by penalty shootout
