• Japan 03-00 Cambodia: The Samurai Blue earned their first win in Group E as Keisuke HONDA, Maya YOSHIDA, and Shinji KAGAWA all found net.
• China PR 00-00 Hong Kong: The mainland squad would have earned a comfortable victory if the woodwork counted; ZHENG Zhi had two shots off the frame of goal, and two of his teammates also hit the post, all in the first half alone. But Hong Kong held on for the away point, remaining in first place in Group C.

• Bahrain 00-01 Korea DPR: JONG Il Gwan scored the only goal just three minutes after coming off the bench, as Korea DPR won for the third time in as many matches. They are surprise leaders of Group H, but the Philippines are three points back with a match in hand.
• Jordan 00-00 Kyrgyzstan: The two sides remain level in Group B, two points behind Australia, with a goalless draw.
• Kuwait 09-00 Myanmar: A ten man Myanmar squad was thoroughly dismantled, as a hat trick from Bader AL MOTAWAA led the way. Kuwait are now level with Korea Rep atop Group G.
