CONCACAF has completed the draw for the first and second preliminary rounds of 2018 Men’s World Cup qualifiers, involving 27 of the 35 member nations. The first round will be held MON 23-TUE 31 MAR 2015.

The 14 lowest ranked teams in CONCACAF were drawn into first round pairings, including Bahamas-Bermuda and Belize-Cayman Is. The 13 next lowest ranked teams enter at the second round, which means that some of the pairings, like Puerto Rico-Grenada, are already known. But seven of the teams will face first round winners, such as Guatemala against the Bahamas-Bermuda winner.

There will also be a third preliminary round, at which stage the seventh and eighth ranked teams, Jamaica and Haiti, enter. The six winners from this round join the six highest ranked teams in the semifinal round. The top two teams in each of the three groups proceed to the final round. FIFA has yet to decide how many places CONCACAF will have at Russia 2018.

The matchups for the third preliminary round and semifinal round will be decided at the qualifying draw on SAT 25 JUL 2015 in St Petersburg, Russia.
