The seeded teams for the CAF playoffs have been announced. Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Algeria, Tunisia, and Nigeria received top seedings due to their positions in the FIFA rankings of SEP 2013, and each will face an opponent from the second pot. The draw will be held MON 16 SEP 2013 at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

• Pot 1: Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Tunisia
• Pot 2: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Senegal
