Two CAF matches postponed
[SUN 01 JUN 2008 – 23:18:21 UTC]
In the CAF second round, the Sudan-Chad and Gabon-Lesotho matches scheduled for SAT 31 MAY 2008 have both been postponed. Sudan and Chad are in the midst of a diplomatic dispute that forced the cancellation of the Group 10 match. Meanwhile, the lingering effects of an air traffic controllers’ strike in Gabon earlier in the week meant that the Crocodiles could not travel to Libreville for their Group 5 encounter. FIFA and CAF will make a decision on the state of these matches.
